River ships often raft side-by-side — a little planning makes it easy
  • Ask for crew assistance every time on and off — they do this all day and will steady her on each side.
  • When ships raft together, you cross through the next ship’s reception deck; crew help across and carry the folded chair.
  • Never rush the gangway — let others go ahead and pick the calmer moments; the angle eases with the river level.
  • It’s completely okay to skip a demanding port and enjoy the ship — that’s smart pacing for three weeks.

  • Prague → Budapest (Tue Jun 30): ~5 h coach, lunch/rest stop, arrive ~2:30–3:00 PM for 3 PM embarkation.
